Job Description:

At our home, our two Boston terriers aren't just pets; they're family. We're seeking a friendly and dedicated individual to take on a unique role as a hybrid Dog Nanny/Housekeeper. As the primary housekeeper, you'll ensure that our home remains a comfortable, clean, and welcoming space. Additionally, you'll be responsible for our beloved fur babies when we're away, which amounts to approximately 6-8 weeks a year and 2 weekends a month. We would love someone who will take care of our dogs like they are their own and will ensure the best care for them!

Key Responsibilities:

• Housekeeping: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of our home, ensuring a comfortable and inviting environment.
• Pet Care: Provide top-notch care and attention to our two Boston terriers. This includes feeding, walking, playtime, taking them to the groomer, or vet, if necessary, and ensuring their well-being.
• Travel Support: When we're away, you'll step in to care for our dogs, maintaining their routines and ensuring they feel loved and secure.
• Entertainment Assistance: During our frequent gatherings, you'll keep our dogs entertained and cared for while we entertain our guests. Two weekends/month we may ask that you take the dogs to your home while we have guests. There could also be an alternative solution to this if your home is not right for the dogs.

Qualifications:

• Passion for Pets: Must LOVE dogs and have a genuine affection for animals.
• Flexibility: Adapt to a dynamic schedule, as we will be flexible in return to accommodate your needs.
• Physical Ability: Be in good physical condition to handle housekeeping and pet care responsibilities.
• English Proficiency: Fluent in English for effective communication.

Position Compensation

• Salary: $30+/hour, DOE, Negotiable for the right candidate
