Do you want to learn a lifelong skill and have what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur and Dog Groomer? Join our Dog Groomer Training Program and within six (6) months you could be out on your own as a mobile groomer making up to $400/day!

Pay starts at $15/hr for 2-4 days a week, 9am to about 6pm (ending time varies). As a bather, you will work in one of our vans with a trainer / groomer learning dog handling, grooming prep, and bathing. In about 2 months depending on aptitude, you will advance to a Grooming Apprentice at $18/hr and learn the skills to be a successful Dog Groomer. Normal time to finish the program is 4-6 months, after which you will be assigned a van and your own clients, representing AwbreysArk. As a full groomer, you will have a weekly quota and be paid commission plus tips, including paid time off and holiday pay. Most of our groomers work only 3 days a week and make $300-400 per day depending on experience. Full time is possible though not encouraged as this is a highly demanding job, both physically and mentally.

AwbreysArk Mobile Pet Spa is a premium pet service in the Chapel Hill area specializing in skin care and treating the whole animal. We groom one dog at a time, taking our time and pampering each of our furry friends. This is not your usual grooming salon.
