Dog Daycare/Kennel Attendant

We are hiring for both our Locations: Lockport( just doggy daycare) and Clarence ( daycare and kennel attendant) Our Shifts are usually 4-6 hours and must be able to help with our late night let out for the kennel location (8:30pm-10pm)

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor dogs in a daycare setting to ensure their safety and well-being
- Maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the dogs
- Feed and administer medications to dogs as instructed
- Monitor and report any changes in behavior or health of the dogs

Experience:
- Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting, such as a dog daycare, kennel, or veterinary clinic is preferred but not necessary
- Some Knowledge of dog behavior and body language
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments safely and confidently
- Basic understanding of pet care
- Ability to lift heavy objects, such as bags of dog food or crates ( at least 40 lbs)

Skills:
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Patience and compassion when working with dogs who may be anxious or fearful
- Knowledge of basic first aid for dogs is a plus
