Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor dogs in a daycare setting to ensure their safety and well-being
- Engage in playtime activities with the dogs, including fetch, tug-of-war, and other interactive games
- Provide basic grooming services such as brushing and bathing
- Clean and sanitize play areas, kennels, and equipment
- Administer medications or treatments to dogs as directed by the owner or veterinarian
- Maintain accurate records of each dog's behavior, feeding schedule, and any special instructions
- Assist with customer service duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and addressing customer inquiries
Requirements:
- Must have a genuine love for dogs and a strong understanding of dog behavior
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments in a calm and confident manner
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting (e.g., lifting large dog crates or bags of dog food)
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Previous experience working in a Dog Daycare or similar environment is preferred but not required
Please note that this position may require working on weekends or holidays based on the needs of the business.
