We are accepting applications for our very own DoD SkillBridge Program, which is a cutting-edge initiative designed to link our nation's warfighters to the best employment opportunities available as soon as possible in their transition process.
In this DoD Skillbridge Program with Equinix, you will:
Problem Solving: Applies expertise to resolve diverse and complex issues within a defined scope.
Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic environment, receiving general instructions for routine tasks and adapting to detailed guidance for new assignments.
Operational Leadership: Manages moderate-level daily operations, ensuring global application support (24/7/365).
Analytical Skills: Investigates, researches, and analyzes moderate application incidents, demonstrating a proactive approach to incident resolution. Data Entry and Database Administration.
Security and Compliance Focus: Enforces password policies, maintains audit history, and collaborates with auditors to ensure compliance.
Communication: Reports to senior team members on critical updates, features, and upgrades, maintaining effective communication within the team.
Testing and Documentation: Executes User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Disaster Response testing, emphasizing meticulous documentation.
Capacity Planning: Provides initial analysis support for application capacity reviews, defining intermediate-level scopes.
Performance Optimization: Conducts performance analysis, identifies bottlenecks, and supports resolution of initial-level performance issues.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensures high satisfaction levels for incident resolution under Service Level Agreements (SLA).
Qualifications
Preference with IBM Maximo (similar to SKED) knowledge
Must have experience with database administrations and data entry experience
Must meet all eligibility requirements outlined in DOD Instruction 1322.29
Must have a minimum of 4 months of eligible and approved Skillbridge Internship available
Official TAD/ TDY Orders to Equinix for the period of the Fellowship Required
Technical Associates Degree, military-technical school, or civilian technical trade school completion
Minimum of two years' formal training or four years of progressive responsibility and experience in a specific discipline transferring experience from
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
Must be a US Citizen who is not a dual citizen of any other country
The targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are:
San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $89,000 to $142,000 per year
California (Non-SF/Bay Area), Connecticut, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, Washington state: $82,000 to $130,000 per year
Colorado, Nevada, Rhode Island: $74,000 to $118,000 per year
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
This position may be offered in other locations. Your recruiter can share more about the specific pay range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
