We are an established company with 25 years of experience in the dairy and functional ingredients industry. We are seeking a professional to fill our role as Document Specialist.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who works well independently but has the ability to collaborate with others as a core team member. The role requires excellent communication and organization skills, and the ability to prioritize a variety of tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Stay current with all regulatory and certifying agency guidelines.
- Lead, safeguard, maintain and monitor all applicable documentation for duration of all facility and product lifecycles. Familiarity with Document Compliance, TraceGains, and Genesis a plus.
- Verify accuracy of labels, spec sheets, and other documentation and make updates and alterations as needed.
- Be a subject matter expert to answer questions for sales reps, customer service associates, vendors, customers and regulatory organizations.
- Daily communication with in-office and remote sales reps and customer service.
- Review and evaluate communications and documentation to ensure these convey all necessary detail and adhere to applicable regulatory standards.
The Ideal Candidate for this role:
- Previous food industry experience and/or a food-related degree preferred.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing needs and circumstances throughout the workday.
- Highly organized and efficient.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance rules and a desire for continued learning.
- Skilled communicator with both internal and external personnel via email, instant messaging, digital meetings, and phone calls.
- Ability to work in-office with a possibility for hybrid.
