Pharmacy Investigators and Consultants is looking for an entry-level Document Specialist. We are a small company working in the pharmacy benefit space with a focus on fraud detection and auditing. You will be responsible for uploading documents from pharmacies into our proprietary system. Day-to-day work will be entirely work from home. While this entry level job is currently available, there is an opportunity to grow into a fraud auditor if the candidate is a pharmacy technician or is willing to become a pharmacy technician. Healthcare experience a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
· Responsible for uploading documents from pharmacies into our proprietary system
· Work both independently and collaboratively with other team members on our projects
· Comfortable communicating with pharmacies and other stakeholders
· Be detail oriented, careful and precise while being concerned with client deadlines
· Be aware of privacy rules (i.e. Health Information Privacy and Protection Act) with Protected Health Information
· Be trustworthy and reliable.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Basic office skills like Word and Excel (does not have to be an Excel “super-user,” just basic functions
· Fluent in English and comfortable in communication in English
Preferred Qualifications:
· Pharmacy Technician
· Nursing Assistant or related healthcare experience.
