General Job Description
The Document Scanning Technicians primary responsibility is to support the digitization effort to convert paper documents to digital format, performing quality control of images and document storage.
Core Responsibilities
· Receiving and properly sorting a high volume of sensitive incoming records received in both electronic and hard-copy format.
· Scanning all received hard-copy records and converting to PDF.
· Storing and organizing electronic records in a company-wide case management database.
· Maintaining and disposing of hard-copy records according to established retention schedule.
· Processing outgoing correspondence submitted by litigation department via company-wide case management database and preparing for mailing via USPS.
· Prioritizing and organizing workload based on needs of litigation staff.
· Assisting with special projects on an as needed basis.
Qualifications
Education - High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience - Prior experience in a similar role preferred. Familiarity with medical records and medical terminology a plus.
Must be knowledgeable and proficient in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Excel. Able to use email, video calling and video meetings and basic office equipment. Must be able to quickly adapt to learning new computer systems/upgrades, especially systems required by our clients.

Security Role
In addition to the core responsibilities of the position, this employee is responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of 4600Boehm’s systems and information (both physical and electronic) by adhering to the security policies outlined in the most recent versions of the Company Handbook, the Information Security Guide and Security Awareness training documents.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
