Job Overview:

Responsible for preparing all electronic contracts and invoices received from dealers and agents through the Safe-Guard mail system. Scans all electronic contracts and enters information into Safe-Guard Contract Management system. Makes sure contract information is correct and valid.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attendance and punctuality a must.
• Responsible for opening, sorting, scanning, and coding.
• Counts each contract to ensure exact dollar amount matches (check).
• Telephones customers and vendors to determine contracts and/or checks received
• with no applicable information.
• Returns contracts with no checks/ wrong checks.
• Maintains two copies of each check for Batch and Accounting.
• Receives checks on a daily basis.
• Determines the specific amount that should be applied to each contract.
• Codes batch accordingly.
• Print batch headers and checks for accuracy (staples to each batch).
• Place batches in file cabinet for data entry to enter them.
• Scanning of product contracts into the queue for Data Entry retrieval.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor, Manager, and/or Department Head
• Other duties, as dictated by departmental priorities

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in insurance and financial field; one to two years of clerical and scanning data experience in an office environment.
• Must have strong computer skills and ability to identify contracts and checks.
• Must be proficient in Windows and MS-Office Products.
• Superior verbal/written skills and communications skills.
• Good punctuation, spelling, mathematical, grammar, analyze complex-detailed reports, and attention to detail is a must.
• Exercises sound judgment when interacting with customers and vendors.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S
• Must be able to successfully pass a background check
