There is an immediate need for a Document Processing Specialist to support our Publication Surveillance project located in the Washington, DC Metro area The position will mostly be remote, but may require travel to office located in Hyattsville, MD.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following duties and/or functions:
- Download, upload, scan, file, and organize regulatory documents or data images.
- Maintain files and records.
- Perform data entry into regulatory documentation databases or systems.
- Extract, cross reference, and prepare data for entry.
- Coordinate efforts associated with preparing and processing incoming and outgoing regulatory documents.
- Interact with supervisor to ensure that contract deliverables are completed in a timely manner.
- Exercise experience in following documented procedures to search for, select, or code items to be entered from a variety of sources.
In addition, the qualified candidate will be required to have the following:
- A minimum of a high school diploma
- One (1) year of demonstrated experience related to the job description above.
- Proficiency in utilizing databases, demonstrated understanding and experience using Adobe Acrobat, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products.
