Docketing Clerk

The Kryder Law Group is looking to hire a Docketing Clerk with at least one year of experience working in a personal injury law firm. You assist the attorneys with various parts of the litigation process. At the conclusion of the cases, you will negotiate medical bills and other financial obligations that may exist at the conclusion of a personal injury settlement.

Responsibilities include:

· Drafting Pleadings such as Complaints and Motions.

· Electronic Filing

· Service of process.

· Legal research.

· Help issue and Answer written discovery.

· Coordinating depositions

· Ordering Medical Records

· Drafting, filing, and following up on subpoenas.

· Assisting Attorneys as needed and as requested

· Resolving medical liens, doctor liens, med pay liens, health care liens, Medicare liens, Medicaid liens and other types of liens.

· Preparing medical payment proposals and lien proposals.

· Creating statements of settlement.

· Mailing checks

· Entering data

· Ensuring client satisfaction

· Closing and inventorying resolved files.
