We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Dock Worker to join our team. As a Dock Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to loading, unloading, and organizing shipments in our warehouse facility. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to operate heavy equipment.
```Responsibilities:```
- Safely and efficiently load and unload shipments using forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
- Organize and stack products in designated areas of the warehouse
- Perform order picking and packing duties as required
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying and documenting incoming and outgoing shipments
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe working environment
```Qualifications:```
- Previous experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, reach trucks, and pallet jacks
- Proficient in loading, unloading, and organizing shipments in a warehouse setting
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to warehouse operations
