Position Overview: As a Software QA Analyst specializing in auditing and process compliance, you will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our software development processes. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our development workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Auditing and Compliance Reviews:

   • Conduct thorough audits and process compliance reviews to ensure adherence to established quality standards and procedures.
   • Identify areas for improvement and recommend revisions to enhance efficiency and compliance.

2. JIRA Expertise:

   • Utilize JIRA for tracking and managing audit processes, compliance reviews, and related tasks.
   • Configure JIRA workflows and custom fields to align with auditing requirements.

3. Quality Assurance:

   • Collaborate with the QA team to design and execute test plans, ensuring software meets specified requirements.
   • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing as needed.

4. Documentation:

   • Document audit findings, compliance assessments, and recommended process revisions.
   • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of audit activities.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration:

   • Work closely with development, project management, and other cross-functional teams to implement recommended process revisions.
   • Facilitate communication between teams to address compliance-related issues.

6. Training and Guidance:

   • Provide training and guidance to team members on quality standards, compliance procedures, and effective use of JIRA.
   • Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

7. Reporting:

   • Generate reports on audit outcomes, compliance status, and process improvement metrics.
   • Communicate results to relevant stakeholders.

8. Process Automation:

   • Identify opportunities for process automation to streamline auditing and compliance activities.
   • Collaborate with the development team to implement automation solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Software QA Analyst with a focus on auditing and process compliance.
• Proven experience using JIRA for tracking and managing software development processes.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in auditing and compliance assessments.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of process automation is advantageous.
