Overall Job Summary
The position is responsible for the management and support of the integration of DEI initiatives that align to Tractor Supply's Mission and Values across the organization. This role provides direct support for the Store Support Center (Corporate Headquarters, also known as SSC) and Distribution Centers (DC). This position works collaboratively with DEI leadership and partners with HR Leaders, HR Business Partners (HRBPs), the business leadership team, and other key stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
  • Partner with HR Leaders, HRBPs, and Talent Leaders to develop the Store Support Center's (SSC) and Distribution Center's (DC) DEI strategy that's aligned with Tractor Supply's DEI strategy and strategic pillars.
  • Develop SSC and DC DEI goals & action plans that include DEI metrics related to attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
  • Evaluate and report on the progress/metrics of DEI program and share updates with key stakeholders.
  • Manage the Team Member Engagement Groups (TMEGs) - similar to Employee Resource Groups - day-to-day operations and drive DEI efforts forward.
  • Consult, advise, coach, and support TMEG leaders and steering committee members.
  • Partner with and share updates with TMEG sponsors in support of TMEGs.
  • Manage the planning, communication, and execution of DEI related events & celebrations.
  • Consult and provide guidance to HR leaders, HRBPs, and SSC & DC leaders on increasing DEI/ESG goals related to Leadership representation and Team Member representation.
  • Design, develop, and execute DEI programs & initiatives for the SSC and DCs.
  • Facilitate DEI programs, training workshops, and key events.
  • Serve as a Program Manager responsible for planning, coordinating, and communicating DEI programs, initiatives, and projects.
  • Partner with the team to extract SSC and DC people data, analytics, and insights.
  • Ensure priorities are moving forward effectively and efficiently across the SSC and DCs that are critical to advancing successful DEI efforts.
  • Create and share DEI store-related communications to promote DEI programs and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Experience: 5-7 years of professional experience in a large-scale organization including DEI-related experience designing, developing, and executing programs. Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in organizational development, human resources or other business-related coursework required. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
  • Strong interpersonal/collaboration skills
  • Highly skilled facilitator capable of facilitating DEI related training in multiple settings (i.e., classroom, conference call, web conference, etc.)
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to speak effectively to large groups and present to key leadership teams
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (inclusive of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel) or related software
  • Experience using virtual meeting and communication platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc. and an aptitude to work with new technology or systems.
  • Strong project and program management skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects on tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential and highly sensitive information discreetly
  • High degree of emotional intelligence
