District Supervisor

Summary

This position is responsible for providing leadership, hiring, coaching and training of the Merchandisers. This position is responsible for covering multiple outlets within a designated district within a Retail Sales Area. The District Sales Supervisor will report directly to the District Sales Manager. Success in this role requires collaboration between direct reports, merchandiser, account managers, customers and all cross functional partners within the Liberty Coca-Cola Beverages framework. The District Sales supervisor will be responsible for attending meetings and market visits with key decision makers in various chains to foster strong relationships within the marketplace.

Work location: Smithtown to Montauk and Greenport.

Responsibilities

• Be committed to a safety culture by following established health and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain proper staffing levels to optimize efficiencies and deliver Customer service thru effective hiring, training, coaching of merchandisers.
• Foster a fun result driven work environment that achieves results in a safe, professional, and ethical environment.
• Assist District Manager in leading Sales team to identify opportunities, establish goals and objectives and deliver business plan goals
• Work with District Managers and Distribution to develop various schedules that utilize resources that optimize customer service and efficiencies with ability to adjust as necessary.
• Establish trade routine to lead, teach and coach merchandisers and influence performance of Account Managers to drive Right Execution Daily (RED).
• Manage within labor and OPEX budget.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent Communication and People Management Skills
• 1-3 years’ experience in consumer products preferred.
• Requires experience managing people/budgets.
• 1+ years supervising distribution/delivery staff preferred.
• Prior beverage industry experience preferred.
• Computer and database application skills.
• Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product.
• Valid driver's license and driving record within MVR policy guidelines, pallet jack certification as required.
• Schedule: At least 1 weekend day, and it is a day shift.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $58,500.00 - $62,000.00 per year
