Position Summary
The District Manageris an integral member of the team and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of multiple stores within a region. Primary responsibilities include the recruitment and training of store managers, creating and setting store specific goals and ensuring the stores they supervise hit those goals. You will also manage staff, foster a positive environment and coach managers to improve store KPIs. The District Manager will work closely with the Director of Retail in creating business strategies for how stores can grow market share, improve customer experience, and increase their profitability. They will look at analytics to make recommendations on how their stores can achieve the goals set for them.
The ideal candidate will have prior District Manager leadership experience. They must have a positive attitude, must have a passion for excellence, never settle for status quo, and be highly results driven. They must be able to give and receive constructive criticisms when pertaining to the work.
Responsibilities:
· Grow sales and meet expense, payroll and SG&A budgets for their region
- Evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of goals and objectives.
- Lead district meetings focused on a plan to achieve sales objectives and goals.
- Participate in the development of company policies, standards, training and management development.
- Recruit, develop, motivate, and engage a highly talented team.
- Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels.
- Ensure Store Managers are planning and taking appropriate action to achieve company standards and objectives.
· Supports Director of Retail in opening new stores
· Manages payroll reporting in conjunction with the Retail Operations Manager
· Collaborates with the Director of Retail to assess different aspects of store operations and improvements, including sales performance, inventory management, system processes, new manager onboarding, employee productivity, and company culture.
· Completes payroll activities, including sending new hires, employee changes and communicates information to HR accurately and on time.
· Completes and updates all retail sales goals based on approved budgets and communicates to the team.
· Understands daily, weekly and monthly store goals, clearly identifying what this means in terms of sales, profitability, costs, staffing levels and ensures this information is communicated effectively to the team.
· Ensures all staff are kept up to date on changes to products, offers and promotions.
· Completes special projects and other duties as assigned by the Director of Retail.
Status: Exempt
Schedule: 40 hours Monday – Friday; may require some weekend work
Salary: Starting at$85,000 - $95,000 DOE

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Retail Management, or related field.
· 5+ years of experience in multi unit retail leadership
· Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve multi layered problems.
· Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in work.
· Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
