Job Summary:
You will oversee the management of personnel and facility operations within a Distribution Center. Operating areas include inbound/receiving and related areas, outbound order processing and fulfillment with a focus on the Five Keys (Safety, Courtesy, Show, Inclusion and Efficiency).
You will ensure a safe and efficient operation, while focusing on internal Guest service and processes, achieved by coaching, mentoring and providing performance feedback to their Cast Members. Understanding the strategic goals of the operation, you will ensure the team can implement the tactical skills needed to improve productivity, maintain a high level of service while looking for financial opportunities. In this role, you will collaborate with Resort and Segment Partners (i.e. Finance, Safety, Merchandise, Facilities, etc.) to understand their needs and implement process changes to achieve win-win solutions.
You will report to the Planning/Area Manager Distribution Services.
Responsibilities/You Will
- Lead a safe and efficient culture through open communication and performance management that aligns with our organizational goals.
- Own and review the Operating Guides for their area. Look for process optimization and best practices to meet ever-changing requirements.
- Manage workflow and Cast to meet budget objectives and achieve daily goals.
- Explore opportunities for enhanced learning, new tools and technology by analyzing issues and trends.
- Process Cast Member paperwork, i.e. separations, discipline documentation, time sheets.
- Use budgetary skills to forecast and plan the business along with analyzing financial data to recognize aberrations and trends.
- Conduct accident investigations with root cause analysis to develop and implement solutions. Update documented training procedures to resolve the cause and prevent reoccurrence.
- Develop, mentor and recognize the Cast in a Union environment. Nurture a relationship with each Cast Member lead, providing development, and feedback resources.
- Oversee the arrival of new hire Cast Members by conducting scheduled check-ins.
- Develop existing Cast Members through performance feedback sessions. Administer recognition, leave of absence tracking, safety coaching, and performance management. Cascade communication to Cast.
- Support knowledge transfer and training to manage area KPI's.
- Manage vendor relationships to support the facility and equipment maintenance.
Basic Qualifications/You Will Have
- 2+ Years Leadership Experience
- Warehouse Management Systems experience: WMS (Blue Yonder and Maximo preferred), ERP system (SAP preferred)
- Budget and Accounting knowledge
- Leadership qualities that demonstrate successful mentoring, planning, communication, and execution for hourly Cast Members.
- Experience leading in an inclusive environment
- Microsoft Suite Experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in Spanish language
- Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Value Stream mapping
Required Education
- AA/BA/BS or 2+ years of experience Business Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Logistics, or Manufacturing

The hiring range for this position in Anaheim is $77,100 to $103,400 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
