Job Description
To assist in the picking/packing of finished goods and the loading unloading and storage of both finished goods and raw materials.
Job Duties
- Pick and pack goods to ensure that they correspond with the pick- ticket received and that the order is in accordance with customer guidelines.
- Store goods in appropriate section of warehouse as directed.
- Utilize Tier 2 equipment for the purpose of loading and unloading goods to put away and replenish goods and to pick and pack goods. (Tier 2 equipment-Dock Truck and Electric Pallet Jack.).
- Accurately process various transactions utilizing warehouse management systems as necessary.
- Monitor product quality and report any problems to Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager.
- Maintain an acceptable level of productivity and maintain an accurate log of activity.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Observe all health safety and hygiene rules.
- Maintain a clean working environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Related work experience in warehousing and distribution required.
Preferred:
- Basic Math Skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Able to work Overtime as needed in order to support the business needs.
- Experienced in the operation of Tier 2 warehousing equipment preferred. (Tier 2 equipment-Dock Truck and Electric Pallet Jack.).
- The ability to learn to operate Tier 2 equipment: (Tier 2 equipment-Dock Truck and Electric Pallet Jack.).
- The ability to lift 50 lbs.
