This position is responsible for the day-to-day administrative activities of the Distribution department for MQ products. Responsibilities include coordinating, planning, scheduling inbound/outbound and communicating between internal customers and Distribution team. The Distribution Coordinator serves as the main point of contact between MQ Distribution warehouse and its external customers

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

• Coordinate scheduling of all inbound appointments and receipts for San Bernardino Distribution using a shared online file.
• Coordinate warehouse activities with sales coordinator, Distribution team, Logistics team, and Purchasing team
• Maintain inbound and outbound electronic and hard copy files, records data in computer and, when requested, provide documents and periodic reports to auditors, Logistics, and others.
• Run Delivery Due List periodically in SAP for batch picking in Warehouse Management system (WMS)
• Process production orders and prints Bill of Materials (BOM) in SAP for kitting
• Assist Distribution Manager on other Supervisors functions when the Distribution Supervisor is off.
• Ensure delivery carriers partners are accurate prior to creating deliveries and Books freight shipments with 3rd Party Transportation providers or freight carriers
• Keeps an open line of communication with co-workers, supervisors and other departments to continuously improve customer service.
• Constantly reviews production orders, list of materials for picking, and delivery due list for accuracy and updates as necessary.
• Contributes topics and solutions to FAQ database.
• Complies with departmental and company policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

• High school diploma; three to five years related warehousing/Distribution experience  
• Strong interpersonal customer service and telephone skills.
• SAP experience higly desirable
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications and have the ability to accurately and proficiently enter information into computer systems.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task.
