The Distribution Center Manager will report to the Regional Director of Operations and will be responsible for the following:

Essential Duties
- Lead Office and Warehouse Teams- Supervise and Coach 2 to 40 operations and warehouse associates toward operational excellence. Determine staffing needs appropriately for volume of phone and will call orders and for the volume of warehouse tasks. Implement and manage individual employee performance standards and metrics to determine effectiveness. Manage employee development.
- Safety & Security – Maintain a safe work environment for all employees. Manage all safety programs, training, hazard mitigation, incident investigation, and behavioral corrections. Meet or exceed expectations for an annual safety audit. Secures property by making sure that protection measures are in place for access and outside security.
- Service – Manage personnel to be sure that all orders are processed same day and meet customers’ expected standards.
- Quality Assurance- Total quality management to ensure customer satisfaction and quality of goods. Manage all quality issues up to and including negotiating remuneration for returns, meeting customers’ expectations and meeting standard operating expectations.
- Operational systems- Achieves warehouse operations objectives by contributing and improving processes and polices in support of the organizations mission and goals.
- Manage Costs- Manage all costs associated with operating a site. Analyze monthly and yearly cost initiatives. Identify areas of deficiency to maximize results and create a lean production.
- Efficiency – Maintain and improve operational systems and processes. Identify needs for improvement and implement solutions.
- Inventory- Oversee inventory accuracy and the distribution of goods. Meet or exceed the organizations expectation for shrinkage.
- Identifying Trends- Analyze reports, dashboards and other key identifiers improvement initiatives, identify opportunities, and establish targets.
- Flexibility- Be able to adapt quickly to changes in volume of demand, product mix, delivery schedules and personnel management.
- Facility – Manage all maintenance and utility costs. Manage all vendor contracts and accounts payable for site vendor services. Work to develop a facility design that optimizes work flow, manning and space requirements, and equipment layout.
- Leadership- Contributes to short- and long-term organizational planning and strategy by leading or participating on a team of managers and/or other associates from multiple locations focused on initiatives to improve safety, quality and productivity.
- Corporate and Site Liaison- Communicate appropriate and necessary information to members of the corporate staff. Be responsive to all requests from associates, customers, other departments, and division leadership.

- Updates Job Knowledge- Participates in educational opportunities, reading professional publications and maintaining professional networks.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a business-related field
- 5 years in a Supervisory or Management Position.
- Demonstrated Leadership skills with experience in managing and developing a Team.
