Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to lead our garage door installation team of two and oversee the operations of our Distribution Center. The DC Manager will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and effective installation of our products while providing leadership to the installation team. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong commitment to quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of garage door installers to achieve high performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to enhance skills and ensure continuous improvement.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
Installation Operations:
- Oversee the planning and execution of garage door installations, ensuring timely and accurate completion of projects.
- Coordinate with the sales and customer service teams to schedule installations and manage customer expectations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure the availability of necessary materials and equipment.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that installations meet or exceed company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of completed installations to identify areas for improvement and provide feedback to the installation team.
Customer Service:
- Act as a point of contact for escalated customer concerns or issues, ensuring swift resolution and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to address customer inquiries and provide accurate information regarding installation timelines.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in garage door installation or related field. (Required)
- Proven leadership and managerial skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical proficiency in garage door systems and installations.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications a plus.
- Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role within a Distribution Center or similar environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
