The ZONE Operations Manager Designate role is designed as a 6–12-month leadership training program. You will receive a customized training experience to assimilate and develop the necessary skillset in preparation for an accelerated career path as a Service Operations Leader.
**Upon completion of the training program, you may be required to relocate within the designated region**. You will receive certification that you have acquired the necessary foundational skills and be transitioned to Zone Operations Manager and take ownership of your own Zone. You will develop a team of frontline hourly and salaried warehouse employees to drive superior warehouse operations and sales support execution for your assigned Zone.
The ZOM Designate role provides you with fantastic opportunities to build critical experiences such as learning the business, how to influence across cross-functional partners, lead and develop a large team, and how to grow PepsiCo’s business.
The ZOM Designate is responsible for embedding into the business and learning best practices for future execution of the cost, quality, service and people performance for multiple distribution centers located within the zone (local geography). You will be trained in Frito-Lay's distribution, manufacturing, and service operations processes while assisting team members in solving problems and improving performance.
Key Responsibilities Include:
In depth understanding of day-to-day warehouse operations to optimize service and performance
Multi facility management within the zone
Cost center P&L management
Partner with sales leadership to enable growth and customer service
Cross functional partnership with internal groups (HQ, Supply chain, etc) and external vendors
Develop team to solve own day-to-day operational issues
Learn the process to set annual/quarterly service targets and objectives, and cocreate solutions for execution
Ensure timely and effective execution of warehouse venues and processes
Administer policies and practices
Infrastructure enhancements/upgrades & Facility maintenance to enable a safe, secure, and positive work environment
7+ years’ experience in warehouse environment
Proven positive P&L management
Demonstrated people and leadership skills
Coaching, facilitation and team building skills
Excellent writing and analytical skills
Frequent standing and walking
Sitting occasionally to frequent
Lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally
Must be able to see (depth perception, near acuity and far acuity) and hear
Must be able to maneuver safely around moving equipment and/or in congested warehouse areas
Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures (hot and/or cold depending upon season and warehouse location)
Must pass a drug screen and background investigation
Must be able to wear personal protective equipment including safety glasses, ear plugs/muffs, steel-toed shoes, etc.
Exposed to various packaging materials, cleaning chemicals, etc.

Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $81,000 - $135,600.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
- Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement
