Position Summary
This maintains all forklifts in the facility, including troubleshooting and repair.
Pay Rate
$25.00/hr
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance work in and around the plant.
Make repairs and replace parts on mechanical equipment.
Replace lights, lighting equipment, plumbing and other facility maintenance items.
Point of contact for outside contractors and vendors on facility maintenance.
Perform and document preventative maintenance as required for packaging equipment, conveyor, dock doors/locks, and material handling equipment.
Assist with continuous approvement teams as SME for equipment.
Assist with building items needed for projects.
Troubleshoot and repair battery chargers
Ability to troubleshoot and repair main components of material handling equipment.
Ability to use volt ohmmeter.
Perform other duties as required.
Maintain good housekeeping.
Report any unusual mechanical or operating conditions to proper persons.
Maintain quality standards according to specifications.
Regular attendance is expected and required.

3 years maintenance experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED
Must obtain LTO license at Rheem
2 years apprenticeship or other certified mechanic program preferred
Proficient in troubleshooting and repair
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint within the first 6 months
Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical functions of a forklift
Ability to communicate effectively to employees and management.
The ability to work overtime as needed
HVAC experience preferred
