A Distribution Center Data Entry Clerk (DC) is responsible for accurately inputting, validating and assigning customer orders into eoStar (WMS) to optimize order selection and truck loads on a daily basis. The DC Data Entry Clerk maintains a high level of precision and attention to detail and conducts routine quality checks to ensure data integrity and identify discrepancies or errors promptly. This role is part of the Operations/Distribution Center team.

Performs daily order entry and processing tasks to ensure efficient and expedited order processing via Eostar.
Inputs, updates and verifies customer order and inventory data accurately into EoStar.
Retrieves customer orders from Eostar, verifies data accuracy and makes updates as needed.
Commits order loads and generates transfers from the Distribution Center to trucks (inventory transfer) based on customer order.
Processes orders to Ultimate Load Management (ULM).
Pulls routes by stop and then by route to ensure load times are met.
Sequences orders to ensure truck loads are complete before the orders are assigned.
Assigns existing orders in Eostar to Order Selectors.
Validates and prints out pick tickets or dispatches work for Order Selectors to build customer orders.
Follows data entry procedures and guidelines to meet quality and productivity standards.
Researches data inaccuracies and errors; verifies and corrects data discrepancies or errors to maintain data integrity.
Identifies errors and resolves promptly or escalates to DC Manager as needed.

Communicates effectively any problems in a timely manner to the Distribution Center or Delivery Management.
Participates in process improvement initiatives to enhance data entry efficiency and overall departmental effectiveness.
Organizes and maintains electronic records and documents.
Inputs, updates and verifies customer order and inventory data accurately into EoStar.
Performs routine data review to ensure data integrity.
Collaborates with team members to ensure data consistency and completeness.
Assists in data cleanup and migration projects as required.
Performs other miscellaneous Distribution Center tasks as needed.
