We are looking for motivated and dependable people to join our Distribution Center as associate team members starting out in Order Fill. We have a great team and positive work environment with only day shift hours and Monday-Friday schedule. We are open to flexible scheduling needs as appropriate to business and team needs.

Background:
HDI has been in business in the Yakima Valley for almost 140 years and specializes in wholesale distribution across the Western United States, Canada, Alaska and Hawaii. We have a long history of serving the PNW and are looking for qualified candidates to assist us in exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.
Potential FULL TIME applicants will need to have a positive attitude, be coach-able, willing to work Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm majority of the year. Occasional Saturdays always a possibility, and overtime as needed. All applicants will need to pass a pre-employment drug test, be able to lift up to 100lbs, and be able to work in warmer temperatures in summer and cooler temperatures in winter

Essential Job Functions:
-Fulfill various orders utilizing RF scanners, order numbers, and quantities.
-Count products, manage accuracy of ‘Picks’, and meet standard in both productivity and accuracy.
-Process Orders for completion both by filling and stacking product neatly and properly.
-Practice/promote a safe work environment with team members.
-Customer (both internal and external) focused during every task.
**Other tasks as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
-Material Handling/Order Fulfillment Experience a plus.
-Fast-paced work history a plus.
-High School Diploma/GED.
Required Qualifications:
-Ability to adequately read and speak English (to read work instructions and communicate with co-workers. We do have Spanish-speaking (English second language) team members
-Ability to do basic arithmetic. Counting is most common error new employees make
-Ability to work independently and work well with others
-Ability to lift up-to 100lbs with help. (Some assignments require more)
-Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Horizon Distribution, Inc. offers a competitive base salary with an opportunity at incentive payout in excess of 100% to standard performance in your area!. HDI also offers a competitive benefits package consisting of medical, dental, vision, and 401K after 90-day probationary period. ALL applicants will be expected to hit productivity and accuracy standards prior to 90-days in order extend employment beyond 90-day probationary period.
