The Distribution Associate picks products from our inventory cage and prepares orders for delivery to our retail customers based on given Pick lists. They report to the Distribution Supervisor and Operations Manager. This role will also deliver orders to our customer stores as assigned by the supervisor and will be responsible for moving RFS products to the cage.
Responsibilities (Daily)
- Pick products based on an order's Pick list by ensuring correct count, quality, and compliance stickers.
- Ensure barcodes on products match the order.
- Check each item individually for quality and accuracy.
- Find defects and determine if the product is sellable according to company QC standards.
- Check that the products have a compliance sticker that is accurate and matches the order.
- Pack the verified products using merch packs and boxes.
- Identify, sort, and reject defective products.
- Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
- Accurately execute fulfillment procedures
Finished Goods and Sampling Responsibilities (as assigned or as scheduled)
- Move verified counted finished goods from the intake rack into the cage.
- Ensure that bins are stored in the correct location.
- Remove empty bins from the picking level and move the new batch of inventory down to replenish the inventory, following FIFO practices.
- Coordinate with the Inventory Controller to ensure that employees receive the requested items every week.
- Sort defective items as rework and reclaim.
- Log the sorted defective items and hand to the Inventory Controller.

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 21 years
- Excellent time-management skills
- Excellent counting skills
- Possesses keen eye for detail
- Ability to interpret manifests correctly
- Driven to complete assigned tasks in a day
- Works with a sense of urgency

Work Location and Schedule
- This is a full-time (M-F 7:00 am – 3:30 pm), paid by the hour, non-exempt position. The employee must have reliable transportation and will work on-site at our facility in South Park, Seattle.
