Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented dispatcher for our dump truck division to join our team. As a Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients and helping to manage drivers and trucks. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to analyze data, and proficiency in transportation management systems. Must be proficient with word and excel.
Prior Trucking experience is definitely needed
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients and drivers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Manage and coordinate fleet operations, including scheduling
- Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently
- Analyze transportation data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
-Keep up to date on all ODOT requirements and reporting
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of the dump truck industry a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills
- Proficiency in data entry and using transportation management systems
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends or areas for improvement
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
