Dispatcher

Data Business Equipment, a 2nd generation family owned company that specializes in the financial equipment space is looking to add a dispatcher to join their team on a full-time basis and work out of our headquarters in Des Moines, IA. This dispatcher role is an integral part of our operations as they serve as both one of the faces of our company and are responsible for delivering the world-class service that our customers have grown accustomed to. This is a terrific opportunity for a dispatcher that is looking to get into more of a regular M-F schedule and get away from the late nights and weekends that are a staple in the role. Schedule for this dispatcher opportunity will be Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm with occasional overtime.

Job duties for this dispatcher role include:

• Answer customer phone calls and email requests for service, supplies, and inquiries.
• Create services and supply orders.
• Create and update customer accounts and equipment records
• Distribute service calls/work orders to technicians based on geography, technician’s skills and current workload. Reassign service calls to technicians as needed.
• Manage all work orders/service calls to ensure they are completed in a timely manner. (Response time of 4 hours or less)
• Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction in the performance of all service related items.
• Communicating and ensuring that customer is up to date on service call status.

Qualifications for this dispatcher role include:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge and competency of the Microsoft Office Suite
