Dispatches for couriers/logistics- coordinates best delivery method, identifies and evaluates any special needs for each courier run, and maintains constant communication with couriers and logistics staff to report status of routes. Timely dispatching of STAT calls to 3rd party vendors. Coordinates with logistics manager/supervisor on the development of new routes, re-routes, and facility moves. Provides data analytics regarding logistics spend and usage. Knowledge of commonly used terminology, concepts, practices, and procedures within the hospital. Follows pre-established guidelines to perform job functions. Acts as support to couriers and logistics manager/supervisor as needed. Provides clerical and administrative support to the Supply Chain Director and Manger/Supervisors as assigned per facility. Ad hoc Supply Chain business support assistance by interacting with vendors requiring credentialing via web based such as RepTrax. Supports Supply Chain Management Vendor Policy and provides enforcement of the policy as required.
- High School Diploma/G.E.D. required
- 1 year of previous high volume telephone experience.
- 1 year of previous customer service experience.
- Microsoft Excel and Word – Intermediate Level required
Schedule: Days 4x10s - 6:30-5:00pm; Mondays off
