The Dispatcher's primary role is to perform administrative and dispatching duties while making dispatch decisions related to scheduling, delegating HVAC or plumbing service, repair, and sales calls to field staff. Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Works closely with the customer service team members and field staff; relays information regarding service time frame, appointment availability, delays, or special instructions
- Tracks field technician work location, equipment, and work status; monitors scheduled service appointments and helps anticipate dispatching decisions throughout the workday
- Relay accurate information to customers and technicians, ensuring proficient, and quality experiences
- Makes sound, efficient, and profitable dispatching decisions to direct field staff throughout Bonneys service areas based on urgency, logistics, technician skill sets and specialized equipment
- May work overtime as needed
- Performs other relevant duties as assigned by the needs of the business
What we're looking for:
- 1+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service role
- Previous dispatch experience preferred
- Industry knowledge is preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, and peers, both written and verbally
- Ability to work in a fast paced and results driven environment
- Ability to meet all Company safety requirements
