Dishwasher/Kitchen Utility Full Time

Minimum Qualifications

Educational Requirements and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent, but not necessary
• Must be able to read and write
• Follow instructions with a positive attitude

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Willingness to work with elderly in a senior living environment
• Effectively communicate with Residents, guests, employees, and supervisors
• Must be able to work all Holidays and for pre-planned special events

Position Summary:
Responsible for various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as dish and pot washing, general kitchen cleaning, and the storing of food and non-food supplies, utilizing the “First-in First-out” rotation procedure. Assist with food preparation and plating when necessary. Perform all other duties specified by the Dining Services Director, Dining Services Assistant Director, Kitchen Supervisor, Evening Kitchen Supervisor, or Lead Cook.

Primary Responsibilities
1. Responsible for set-up and maintenance of dish and pot washing areas.
2. Responsible for cleaning and storing all pots, dishes, and utensils.
3. Clean production equipment as needed or directed by supervisor.
4. Show an interest in improving skills
5. Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards.
6. Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures.
7. Attend all in-services as required.
8. Actively incorporates Pinnacle Standards into everyday performance.
9. Perform all other reasonable tasks assigned by your supervisor.
10. Must have good health and physical stamina.
11. Have the ability to follow simple oral/written instructions, and be responsible and reliable for following through with the duties expected.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
