Responsibilities:
- Prepare and portion food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in the setup and stocking of food stations
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
- Assist with inventory control and restocking supplies
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food industry setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to handle knives and other kitchen tools safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
