Dishwasher: Duties and Responsibilities
- Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils and place them in racks to send through dish machine.
- Sort and stack clean dishes.
- Carry clean dishes to service line and other proper storage areas.
- Wash pots, pans and trays by hand
- Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
- Set up or break down dishwashing area
- Fill/empty soak tubs with cleaning/sanitizing solutions
- Sweep/mop floors
- Assemble/disassemble dish machine
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish-washing station
- Clean and stock specified items/areas
Education and/or Experience
- Food Handler Certificate (Required, or ability to obtain at hire)
- Must be able to read and understand the labels on chemicals
- No experience required
- Ability to read and speak fluently in English
- Ability to understand basic math
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
