Dishwasher Job Responsibilities: Convention hotel and Sports Bar
Evening/Night shift & Mid-shift positions:
- Maintains a clean kitchen, properly washes and sorts soiled dishes. Keeps dish area free of clutter and organized.
- Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
- Maintains clean / dry floors throughout the shift.
- Properly washes, stacks, and stores china, glassware, silverware, cookware, and storage containers. Puts items away in proper place.
- Changes water in machines every two hours, or more often as required by business levels, and properly uses chemical dilutions set by Eco Lab.
- Maintains trash cans throughout shift and removes full trashcans and boxes at the end of each shift.
- Assists with other duties set forth or requested by the chef as needed. Banquet details, prep and etcetera. Good tips on banquets, conventions, meeting, weddings, and other hotel gatherings.
- Possible Overtime depending on hotel events.
- Some regular schedules other times longer work times for hotel needs.
Dishwasher Qualifications / Skills:
- Planning and multi-tasking
- Self-motivated with a high energy level
- Verbal communication
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- Hospitality-related kitchen experience preferred
