Job Description: As a Dishwasher at Ike's Kitchen, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. You will be responsible for washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, as well as maintaining a clean and organized dishwashing area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.
- Ensure all items are washed and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Empty trash bins regularly and maintain cleanliness in kitchen and storage areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Follow proper waste disposal procedures.
- Adhere to hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Assist in maintaining overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high volumes of dishes.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen sanitation practices.

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 22 per week
