Hours: Full-Time - 37.5 Hours / Part-Time - 20 Hours

Rate: $18 per hour

Job Overview:

As a Dishwasher at The Pull Up LLC, you are entering into an agreement to uphold the primary responsibility of maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen. Your role is crucial in ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are washed and properly stored, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen and maintaining a hygienic environment for food preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dishwashing:
• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment by hand or using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Ensure thorough cleaning to maintain hygiene standards.
• Sorting and Storing:
• Sort and organize cleaned items for proper storage.
• Safely store dishes, utensils, and equipment in designated areas.
• Prep Support:
• Assist in basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling vegetables or portioning ingredients, as directed by kitchen staff.
• Equipment Maintenance:
• Clean and maintain dishwashing equipment regularly.
• Report any malfunctions or issues with equipment to the kitchen manager.
• Trash Removal:
• Empty trash bins regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Keep trash disposal areas clean and odor-free.
• Kitchen Cleanliness:
• Maintain overall cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, surfaces, and equipment.
• Follow sanitation guidelines to ensure a hygienic work environment.
• Adherence to Health and Safety Standards:
• Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Communication:
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding dishwashing needs and priorities.
• Report any shortage of cleaning supplies to the kitchen manager.
• Team Collaboration:
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of dishwashing operations during peak hours.

Qualifications:

• No specific educational requirements.
• Previous experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or similar environment is a plus.
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to kitchen operations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Lift and carry moderately heavy items, including dish racks and boxes of supplies.
• Work in a hot and humid kitchen environment.

Working Conditions:

• Work may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on the restaurant's hours of operation.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals, heat, and noise typical of a kitchen environment.

Hours of Operation:
Sunday-Monday: CLOSED

Tuesday-Thursday: 11am - 10pm

Friday-Saturday: 11am - 12am

Summer/Spring:

Sunday-Monday: CLOSED

Tuesday-Thursday: 11am - 12am

Friday-Saturday: 11am - 2am

Pay: $18.00 per hour
