Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans using dishwashers or by hand
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in a clean and orderly manner
- Stock supplies such as food or utensils in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars
- Sweep or scrub floors
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas
- Assist kitchen staff with various tasks as needed-
-Clean facility includeing bathrooms and common areas
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions
- Knowledge of proper food handling and sanitation procedures is a plus
Skills:
- Help with kitchen tasks as needed
- Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Understanding of restaurant operations and the culinary industry
- Experience bussing tables or working in hospitality/catering is a plus
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in a fast-paced food service environment
