Luke’s Kitchen and Bar, is the third concept by the partners of Park Lights Hospitality Group, of Luma on Park and Prato – led by visionary chef Brandon McGlamery, Executive Chef Jason Campbell, and operations maven Tim Noelke. We are an everyday neighborhood restaurant that delivers culturally and community inspired, ingredient-driven dishes focused on our unique takes on American cuisine. We make everything in-house and we source locally as much as possible. Inspired by the culinary traditions from coast to coast, our team delivers carefully curated oysters, an array of small plates, and entrees cooked over an open fire grill. The beverage program features classically-inspired libations prepared with fresh and house-made ingredients, as well as an extensive selection of craft beer and wine.
The ideal candidate believes in showing up on time for work, providing other employees with assistance in the kitchen as needed and following all sanitary and health-related protocols.
Job Duties
- Operate the industrial dishwasher
- Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary
- Empty and clean all trash receptacles
- Clean dish storage
- Follow sanitation policies at all times
- Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times
- Perform opening, closing and side work
- Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately
- Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party
Skills and Qualifications
- No experience required (we’re willing to train)
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Excellent critical thinking and time management skills
- Ability to operate industrial machinery and carry loads up to 20 lbs
- Willingness to work in hot, humid environment and on your feet for 8-hour shifts
