POSITION OVERIVIEW

Dishwashing and Sanitization:

• Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Ensure that all items are thoroughly sanitized according to health and safety standards.
• Inspect dishes for cleanliness and proper sanitation before storing them

Kitchen Maintenance:

• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including floors, countertops, and equipment surfaces.
• Empty trash bins regularly and ensure proper disposal of waste in accordance with sanitation guidelines.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor dishwashing supplies such as detergents and sanitizers and inform the supervisor when supplies need to be replenished.
• Assist in receiving and storing incoming supplies and equipment.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure efficient flow of dishes during meal services.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and maintain a clean and orderly kitchen environment.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food handling guidelines.
• Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.\

Flexibility:

• Be willing to assist in other areas of kitchen operations as needed, such as food preparation or cleaning.

UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS: Black Pants, White Chef Coat, Black Rita’s hat

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Must have the ability to lift over 50 pounds and stand over 8 hours.
• Assist with catering cleaning when required.
• Maintain positive attitude in front of customers.
• Clean all equipment and utensils as required.
• Maintain full par stocks of all cleaning supplies.
• Clean stations daily. As well as internal cleaning of dish machines and floors.
• Help with prep of other stations when necessary.
• Additional duties as necessary.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
