LEADERSHIP
- Supporting the front and back of house of house service team members while able to become hands on as needed to drive hospitality and truly memorable guest experiences.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to resolve guest and team related challenges with professionalism and poise even under the most difficult circumstances, while utilizing your leadership team.
- Communicate with your fellow team members and guests using a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to and understand requests, respond with appropriate actions and provide accurate information.
- Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency situations and/or heavy restaurant activity, serving as a role model for the team.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY
Our strongest candidates will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform these functions of the job.
- Minimum of 2 years working in a high-volume Chef driven restaurant.
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills.
- Experienced in and thrives in a fast-paced work environment.
- Deliver exceptional guest service.
- Flexibility to work with multiple tables.
- Must have the drive and desire to be the best!
- Experience in high volume situations and communicate well with FOH and BOH staff.
- Respectful of the kitchen, the food, the guests and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure – asserting initiative, maintaining a sense of urgency and accuracy while maintaining composure and poise.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Frequent walking and standing for long periods of time.
- Ability to reach hands and arms in any direction, kneel and stoop repeatedly.
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
- Washing dishes as well as putting them away.
- Must maintain the dish area and keep it clean. Including but not limited to cleaning other areas of the restaurant.
- Sweeping and mopping, helping stock the cooking line, maintaining safety standards throughout the facility.
- Move and dump trash/boxes to proper receptacles.
