General Job Description – Dish Room Attendant (DRA)
Reports To: All Managers and Supervisors
These are basic job functions for the position of DRA. The duties and responsibilities of this position are not limited to the contents listed. It is impossible to list every duty, responsibility, policy etc. This is intended to be a general guide for the position.
Essentially, the position consists of all duties that would affect customer satisfaction.
1. Completes all established duties on time
2. Must be detail-oriented
3. Comply with the Team Member Handbook policies and procedures
4. Be able to work in a fast pace environment and multi-task at the same
time
5. Be able to read and speak English
6. To be able to remain calm during high pressured moments
7. Adhere to all Food & Beverage policies and Health Department Codes
8. Communicate with Management all issues that may affect customer
service including equipment issues, depleted products, employee issues
9. Know how to clean, rinse and sanitize all glassware, dishware, silverware, utensils and equipment including walls, floors and ceilings to be spotless
10. Must be able to adhere to regular cleaning schedules and maintenance of supplies and cleanliness of restrooms
11. Regularly mop floors all non-carpeted areas
12. Perform side work during your shift such as delivering and replenishing
cookware etc. to cooks and FOH staff
13. Perform side work at the end of your shift
14. Must understand the proper application of chemicals
15. Keep all areas and equipment in Dish Room completely clean
16. Assist others when needed
17. Adhere to all policies whether verbal or written
18. Must carry on your person, all applicable work cards
19. Must be able to identify and operate the appliances and tools in the dish
room
20. Other duties as assigned by management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Shift:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Cleaning: 1 year (Required)
