Richland County Health & Human Services is looking for full-time Disability Benefit Specialist in our Aging & Disability Resource Center to provide benefits counseling and advocacy to individuals between the ages of 18 and 59 years who have a physical disability, developmental disability and/or mental illness, in order to assure that people in these target groups receive information about, and assistance in, accessing the public and private benefits for which they qualify.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or human service related field with State of Wisconsin Social Work certification or eligibility preferred. The starting wage for this position is $24.96 per hour and includes State of Wisconsin Public Employees group health insurance, WRS retirement, and other fringe benefits.
