Overview:
We are seeking skilled and reliable people to join our company. As part of our team, you would be responsible for assisting in various construction and Dirt Work tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and work well in a team environment. This position requires physical endurance, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the excavation and grading of construction sites using hand tools, machinery, and equipment from trucks to skid steers.
- Load and unload materials, such as dirt, gravel, and rocks, using shovels, wheelbarrows, and other equipment.
- Perform site clean-up activities, including removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
- Assist equipment operators and supervisors in carrying out assigned tasks efficiently and safely.
- Operate small machinery and tools as directed, following proper safety procedures and guidelines.
- Assist with the installation of drainage systems and utility pipes as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities and ensure project deadlines are met.
- Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and other activities to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Strong work ethic.
3. Previous experience in construction or a related field preferred.
4. Knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and materials.
5. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints is a plus.
6. Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
7. Excellent teamWork and communication skills.
8. Willingness to learn and follow instructions and to apply intelligent effort to tasks.
9. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
10. Experience operating heavy machinery such as skid steers, bulldozers, and excavators is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
