We are an integrated third-party logistics company, with a brokerage division, an in-house long-haul fleet, several warehouses around the country, and a retail consolidation business. We currently operate under three levels of services which include Assets, Brokerage, and Warehousing.
Our freight brokerage business is growing rapidly (operating under the well-established Am Trans brand) and looking for experienced brokers to join our team. Our integrated 3PL business allows brokers to leverage other parts of the business as selling points in ways that traditional brokers can't, making it easier to build relationships and sell to clients.

Job Overview:
Hands on leadership and management of the operations for the combined 900,000 square foot of distribution facilities. Manages the overall receipt, storage, re-packaging, set-building, inventory control, quality control, fulfillment and distribution. Direct responsibility for the site KPI’s. Ensures customer service objectives are met and maintained. Recommends and implements technology and process improvements to improve productivity and efficiency rates.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Responsible for managing 4 Facilities combined square footage of 900,000 square feet. Manage activities directly and indirectly of approximately 4 salaried GMs and up to 100 hourly employees, including seasonal help. Manages the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. Responsible for the inventory accuracy while servicing retail consolidation customers shipping to Walmart/ Target/ and grocery retailers
You’re a Great Fit if You:
Fulfillment - ensure that all customer orders are fulfilled at maximum fill rates within required time frames while maximizing equipment and labor efficiencies.
Dock – maintain the proper in/out flow of trailer; products/goods for receiving and shipping while meeting all customer receiving and routing requirements. Effective management of space utilization (rack storage, trailer storage).
Inventory Control – maintain inventory movement and cycle count program throughout the facility and implement efforts to achieve 100% accuracy from a unit and location perspective.
Planning – production scheduling including Set Assembly (custom and standard), Returns, and Pick Wave Management for fulfillment and Retail departments.
Finance – Manage and monitor Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics and work with Finance management for all financial reporting and KPI report outs.
Interacts with key customers when necessary to support overall business expectations.
Human Resources – support corporate-led HR initiatives and on-site distribution center functions. Plays a key role in the staffing and selection of the staff for each of the facilities
Recommends and implements technology and process improvements to improve productivity and efficiency.
Provides back up for SVP of Operations as assigned or needed.
