Summary:

The Director of Total Rewards & HR Operations plays a critical role in forming and delivering equitable and scalable programs to attract, and retain Powin’s global talent. This includes global compensation, benefits, payroll, compliance, HR analytics and HR systems to create competitive and engaging HR services and Total Rewards programs. This role is part of the HR leadership team and will partner closely with Global Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, Talent Development, Information Technology, and Finance & Accounting functions within Powin. Job Details:

  • Own the development, implementation, and evolution of core programs in the employee lifecycle for seamless employee experience across benefits, onboarding, and off boarding, including compliance practices and global HR Policies
  • Direct our compensation programs and practices, including annual planning, market reviews, job architecture and our review processes
  • Provide operational and technology support and analyses for compensation, benefits, performance management, engagement, and recruiting
  • Evaluate and effectively manage relationships with benefit providers and HR technology vendors
  • Manage and optimize our overall HR function spend
  • Lead the US-based HR Shared Services teams including HR Operations, HRIS, and payroll which serve as the Center of Excellence for global HR Shared Services
  • Accountable for global HR systems data integrity, reporting and analytics
  • Recommend and implement innovative processes across the HR organization, serving as stakeholder and portfolio project manager for initiatives involving policies, HR data, systems, and implementation of platforms
  • Review and adapt the service delivery structure to meet business needs (i.e. – some programs delivered centrally and some through HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and Development)
  • Manage employment practices, policies and record keeping including implementing adequate processes and audits, in compliance with recent employment law updates (i.e. - national/local laws, new hire notification requirements, labor laws, unemployment claims, records retention policies, etc.)
  • Be the center of our cross-functional relationships with Finance, IT, Legal and other stakeholders to drive the effective delivery of People programs and services
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years relevant experience in Business, Human Resources Management, Finance, or related field
  • 3+ years experience managing Compensation and HR Operations teams with a passion for managing the details and mentoring others within a rapidly growing business
  • CCP, GRP and related compensation and HR certifications preferred
  • Design and operational management experience in compensation, benefits, and HR systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and/or effectively delegate the implementation, communication and management of compensation and benefits programs
  • Financial acumen and experience using data-driven approaches to identify and implement program and policy decisions
  • Possess an outcome-focused, non-bureaucratic, and collaborative leadership style
  • Experience working in a global / multi-country environment and distributed workforce required
  • Demonstrated understanding of and curiosity around new HR Operations and HR Technology trends and how those practices unlock growth and business success
  • Professional credibility that influences others and promotes confidence across the organization
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to effectively represent Velocity Global internally and externally
  • Ability for limited US domestic and international travel
