Position Overview: As the Director of Talent, you will be a strategic leader responsible for shaping our organization's talent acquisition and talent management strategy. Your dual focus on leading HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Talent Acquisition will drive our success in attracting, developing, and retaining exceptional talent. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's workforce as your responsibilities will span from attracting top-tier talent to nurturing their growth within the company by developing/executing human resources strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives. This role will involve collaborating closely with senior leadership and implementing talent best practices. This position reports to the leader of People Strategy and has responsibility for the growth, development, and management of both leaders and individual contributors, and may oversee the management of outside contracted resources.
This role is not an essential onsite role; it follows Leader onsite requirements for the Hybrid and Remote Work model. Typical travel is up to 20% of time.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as an innovative thought leader for talent acquisition and talent management, bringing a creative and proactive approach to strategic people efforts at every stage of the talent lifecycle
  • Cocreate strategic talent portfolio and prioritize initiatives in partnership with the leader of People Strategy. Uncover root causes of problems and design thoughtful, timely solutions that align with business strategy. Assess, diagnose, and recommend tools and resources that align with business issues/opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain business process calendar for talent acquisition and talent management activities to drive consistency of execution and experience and oversee the cyclical execution of these programs
  • Influence business leaders by building trust and inclusivity, strategically framing issues, leveraging data, and balancing excellent decision making with measured speed of implementation
  • Partner closely with COEs and Global HR leaders (Total Rewards, Employee Relations, Learning & Development) to develop an integrated approach to talent initiatives such as hiring, career, mobility, and succession planning
  • Develop and manage performance evaluation processes and ensure continuous performance improvement and career development opportunities include strategic ties to the organization goals
  • Build talent pipelines for critical roles, identifying high-potential employees and creating strategic succession plans tied to organizational strategic goals
  • Oversee a team of HR Business Partners ensuring strategic HR support, including timely employee relations interventions, performance management, and talent development
  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiations ensuring talent acquisition strategies attract high-caliber candidates
  • Apply a data driven approach to diagnosing organizational issues, recommending solutions, and evaluating effectiveness of people programs
  • Manage the communication and administration of the annual and off-cycle talent planning process, and other enterprise-wide projects or initiatives
  • Ensure all programs, policies and procedures are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related discipline
  • 8+ years leading talent management with demonstrated progression in responsibilities and a track record of designing and delivering effective talent acquisition, development, and management programs
  • 5+ years leading teams of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management or HRBPs, and HR experts.
  • Advanced applied knowledge of Performance, Talent, Succession and Engagement strategies, techniques, and systems
  • Demonstrated ability to advance work with autonomy and through ambiguity with a bias for prioritization, alignment to strategy, creativity, and action
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and translate organizational talent needs into a talent management strategy and develop innovative and agile solutions to drive business impact
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships from peers to C-suite executives, demonstrate expertise to establish credibility and trust, and exude a strong executive presence through confidence, professionalism, and effective communication
  • Proficient in using HRIS systems, familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR databases

PreferredKnowledge, Skills, and Experience:
  • Master's degree Masters in HR, OD, Organizational Psychology, or related field of study
  • Experience as a leader of leaders
  • Experience in talent assessment tools (DiSC, Hogan, Wunderlich etc.)
  • Proficiency with Workday Talent module
  • Certifications in: HR (S/ PHR, SHRM-S/CP); OD (ODCC/CP); Change (CCMP, CMS, CPCM, Prosci); Coaching (ICF, ICCP, EMCC)
  • International Human Resource experience

Tools / Systems / Software:
  • Microsoft Office productivity tools including Teams
  • Workday

Physical Requirements:
  • Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse, and screen
  • Often traverse between various areas across large facilities
  • Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
