Director, Supply Chain Planning And Analytics (Remote)

Standvast Fulfillment is seeking doers, problem-solvers and innovators to help us build a better Supply Chain. We are looking for individuals who want to help create something new and embrace an opportunity to make a difference while learning from a seasoned team who has driven some of the most significant innovations in eCommerce Supply Chain, logistics, and technology development in a variety of industries.
As a member of the Standvast team you will lead a team of analysts responsible for forecasting, Supply Chain analytics, and Supply Chain optimization. Additionally, you will own product requirements for a suite of supply decision making tools including order management, inventory management and procurement, operational planning, and Analytics. You will work closely with a technology team and a group of Supply Chain professionals to build new software for the Supply Chain industry while using the tools you build to run the Supply Chain for a technology first 3PL. This position is preferably in the Greater Reno Area, but we are also considering strong remote candidates.
Specifically, in this role you will manage a team doing the following:

• Develop time series forecasts used for operational planning.
• Develop quantitative models to convert forecasts into operational plans.
• Forecast capacity requirements for use in capital Planning and expansion.
• Build analytics and data visualization tools to support decision making.
• Manage inventory levels and ordering plans for clients to minimize their total landed cost.
• Work closely with a technology team to build Supply Chain decision making software for order management, logistics Planning and execution, and inventory management.
• Develop mathematical models of operational processes to support optimization efforts.

Position requirements

• Master's degree in a quantitative field preferred or a Bachelor's Degree with relevant experience. A background in economics, econometrics, operations research, mathematics, or statistics is a plus.

Additional Skills that are highly valued

• Leadership Abilities/Experience
• Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or logistics degree or experience
• Six Sigma/Lean/OE background a plus
• Experience in Python, Julia, R, Stata, Mathematica, Matlab or a desire to learn.
