- Manage entry into HR Tracker ensuring all positions are being filled quickly.
- Meet with HR Business Partner routinely and follow up on recruiting for candidates.
- Create develop/training plans for all Staff & succession planning.
- Utilize proper On-Boarding Checklists and conduct status rounding for new Employees.
- Entry yearly goals in the LBH Performance Management System.
- Coordinates vendor engagement and presentation including coordination of trials.
- Assists with introduction and facilitation of vendor rep training at local level, as necessary.
- Presents key stakeholders with sourcing updates within the sourcing strategy and contract negotiation process.
- Manages procurement of items for trials, samples, and go-live implementations.
- Ensures all critical ancillary (non-clinical) departments and educators are included in the sourcing process, as required.
Supply Chain Operations: Develops and is accountable for the achievement of departmental goals and objectives. Ensures compliance with the system Supply Chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), conduct Clinical Rounding and provide follow up of all issues with the clinical leadership.
- Review and create appropriate process for storeroom optimization.
- Use reports to monitor the operating stock levels to determine appropriate Unit PARS.
- Manage Distribution Routes as necessary to optimize labor.
- Make every effort to achieve on-time, predictable, quality supplies and service. Continuous improvement to have the “Best in Class”, Highly Automated Repeatable Processes.
Budget Management: Develops and recommends to AVP Supply Chain Operations a department operating budget and ensures that the department operates within the established target.
- Work with AVP Supply Chain Operations and local Finance to understand, map the site budget and standardize Cost Centers and GLs.
- Provide ongoing monitoring of Operating and Capital Budgets for all assigned areas, managing any budget variances on a regular basis. Develops and executes Business Plans which support Capital investments.
- Demonstrates financial and resource stewardship.
Clinical Collaboration: Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams. Participates in hospital/medical staff committee meetings as required. Attends meetings and serves in professional and civic service organizations as hospital Supply Chain representative.
- Ensure Distribution staff and Periop staff meet together as one team regularly throughout the week as needed.
- Establish Huddle Board and display all pertinent information with Distribution and Periop Staffs.
- Make daily Clinical Rounds and prove feedback with the Unit Nurse Leadership.
- Communicate Product/Device Recall data to appropriate Key Stakeholders Monitor Unit PAR levels, optimize as needed, closely looking at possible expired products and removal of “slow move” as well as overstock products.
Professional Development: Responsible for the effective development of professional relationships among all Supply Chain Distribution Employees and Leaders, Clinical Staff and Physicians.
- Maintain competency audits on all Employees.
- Ensure that all Distribution Staff are in compliance with Health Stream training.
- Conduct performance assessments quarterly. Have timely “Critical Conversation” discussions as warranted.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.
- Bachelor's degree in related field or 5 years direct SUPPLY CHAIN management experience including the Supply Chain Operations, Inventory/Distribution Management, Budget Management, Information Systems, Human Resource Management.
- 3-5 years.
