We're looking for a dynamic Social Sales Leader to join our team and drive our brand's presence through influencer partnerships and innovative social media strategies.

Position Summary

As a Sales Leader at Zenni Optical, you'll focus on developing an influencer marketing program, leveraging your robust network to recruit top-tier influencers with the goal of driving revenue. Your role involves creating impactful social media campaigns that highlight the unique value of Zenni products, ultimately driving sales and enhancing our direct-to-consumer reach. With your deep understanding of the eyewear industry and fashion, you will blend trend insight with strategic business acumen to elevate our brand's standing in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, recruit, and manage relationships with influencers across multiple social platforms, ensuring alignment with brand values and marketing objectives.
  • Collaborate with influencers to produce engaging social content that showcases Zenni products, including videos, live streams, and blogs.
  • Develop and execute innovative social media sales strategies that capitalize on current trends and audience insights.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize effectiveness and ROI.
  • Work closely with marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure cohesive branding and product positioning.
  • Stay up-to-date with eyewear and fashion trends, competitor strategies, and the ever-evolving landscape of social media.
  • Contribute insights to product development and marketing strategies, highlighting opportunities for growth within the direct-to-consumer space.
  • Work out of our studio in the Arts District multiple days a week, partnering with influencers and our creative team to produce high-quality content.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships within the influencer community.
  • Experience in creating and leading successful social media sales campaigns, preferably in the eyewear or fashion industry.
  • Experience running affiliate-based influencer campaigns
  • Existing relationships with influencers and talent agencies
  • Experience developing product and content collaborations with influencers or celebrities.
  • Strong business acumen with a strategic mindset, adept at driving direct-to-consumer sales.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Creative and innovative thinking, paired with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and key performance indicators.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Deep understanding of and experience in the eyewear industry.
  • A high level of proficiency in social media platforms and content creation.
  • Strong leadership qualities and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record on social media platforms or other direct-to-consumer companies

As of 01/01/2024, the expected annual compensation range for this position is $170k-$248K. Actual pay within this range will be based upon several factors, including without limitation education, work experience, certifications, geographic pay differentials, market conditions, and other business and organizational needs. The Company anticipates that the reasonably expected salary for this position could change in the future and, therefore, the Company retains the right to change, modify, or revisit the salary range for the position for various reasons, including the Company’s business needs
