HP is seeking a Director to lead the PDM (Product Data Management) teams, who will be providing visionary leadership while redefining the overall PDM strategy. This role reports to the SVP of Planning and has responsibility across all the different HP businesses across Print and PS.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with stakeholders across multiple functions, finance, and business units to build financially-sound, executable, data-driven action plans.
- Orchestrates communication between Marketing, Sales, Engineering to maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials).
- Data Governance: Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and security.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of Product Data analysts, ensuring they adhere to best practices and meet departmental objectives.
- Data Integration: Oversee the integration of Product Data from various sources, including suppliers, manufacturing, and sales, into a centralized database.
- Data Architecture: Collaborate with IT and other teams to design and maintain a robust data architecture that supports the needs of the organization.
- Data Reporting: Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards to provide real-time insights into Product Data for decision-makers.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline Data Management processes and improve data accuracy
Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering/Business/Consulting/Supply Chain Planning, Supply Chain or equivalent.
- 12+ years' work experience in supply chain planning, supply chain operations, engineering, or consulting.
- Extensive PDM/PLM leadership within a large organization.
- Strategic thinking and problem solving abilities.
- Expertise to execute orchestration of processes across Planning, Supply Chain, Finance and IT
- Excellent ability in simplifying the complex, storytelling, data visualization, executive communication.
- Strong analytical thinking, analysis, problem solving skills, process orientation, and business acumen skills .
- BOM structure and ECO management Rules experience. Experience with configuration management a plus BTO, BTS, CTO models.
